Will we still be able to slide down Sliding Rock Falls and swim under Looking Glass Falls?

Anything on camps in Brevard area like Chosatonga (off 215) and Kahdalea (off 64) and their owners/family?

Great. Use the only fresh water source near you as your personal shitter.

A few years back it got down in the single digits here in Central Arkansas for two weeks. I had to chop holes in the ice on Lake ouachita to get water to flush toilets with like some kind of Eskimo.

What's funny is this guy and his people would have been shitting in 20 inches of snow and 5 degree weather because his dumb arse doesn't know how toilets work.

About as fast as they went the train derailment in Ohio......not so fast.

If this were in Philly, the military would be activated.....

Terrible people run this country, terrible.

when do you predict they will become your wife's problem and therefor your problem?

Never. We’ve tried offering solutions and they’ve declined. They’re still convinced they’ll have power back in a few days despite repeatedly telling us they think power will be out for a few weeks. It’s bizarre. I think they’re trying to convince themselves the cavalry is going to save them.

How is an electric car which will require a gas powered generator going to help during a flood?

Had a great experience working there one summer and visiting a couple of times later. Great family and great people working at those camps.

I don’t have any questions but I hope your family/friends are doing ok. I hope that your home is and that recovery is as quick as possible (yeah I know it’ll be slow).

Thanks, we are well and blessed with a really close group of neighbors. If you have bad neighbors move or make ammends. It makes all the difference in the world.

Did downtown Brevard flood? Which roads in and out of there washed away

Creek was up 8' and over the bridge into our neighborhood, but it went down quick.

Evwrything is open in downtown brevard. Rosman, the next town over got bombed.

I believe 276 to greenville is blocked, 276 through pigah forest to waynesville had a mudslide i believe. I thi k the routes to AVL and hendersonville, which gets to I26 are passable.

Biltmore church is based in Arden and and is all over the 828 area code. They are doing really well serving the area. I know it is a megachurch, but they are doing really well.
