I agree. I don’t understand why they don’t force the issue with making I-49 connect to 310. It’s a big deal for millions of people. Everyone coming from Texas and north LA would take it.

I agree. Takes a little longer, but no traffic issues. Now if they would patch a couple of places, that would make it even better.

We have to have the worst roads in America. I just don’t get how all you have to do is drive straight and that’s it. It’s like they are fine until they get on a bridge and they just have a automatic seizure or something.

The stretch of 10 in west Baton Rouge sees big rig accidents all the time. It’s straight as an arrow with good line of sight.
They hit heavier traffic, don’t adjust their speed, and get impatient.

Maybe not road conditions, but we definitely have to have the worst interstate/state highway design in the nation.

Always take 90 from NOLA. With perfect conditions on I-10, it's a 20 minute difference. There are never perfect conditions on I-10.
