this is exactly why i don't even frick with I10 anymore. I only take 190 to 105 or vice versa when going back and forth from Houston to BR. it may be an extra 30-45 minutes according to Waze or Google Maps, but there is a 99% chance that there will be an accident or construction taking place on I10 in Louisiana that will cause much longer delays.
I10 between Houston and Baton Rouge has been an absolute shite show for the past 3-4 years.
