We go clamming there. The place is flat as can be. Waterways all along there. Not going to be pretty.

FLORIDA DOT
@MyFDOT
FDOT is staging equipment to help communities recover after #Idalia, including almost 1,100 generators to help restore traffic signals which will ensure safe travel for first responders & residents. Access important storm-related info from
@GovRonDeSantis,
@FLSERT
&
@NWSNHC

Problem with that is they’re no different than any other news channel. They are paid thru advertisements, they’re not government/independent.

I’d much rather get info from here.

I have not studied well enough to know what is going to make this form turn northeast? Is it the trough? That is my understanding. Why do they have it turn when they do is my real question? Could affect me either way because it goes in between my properties. So shifts one way hurt the other and so forth. Trying to figure out the best scenarios in my mind.

Most Florida coastal areas price gouge normally. I think I paid like $6 for a regular bottle of Desani water at a gas station near the beach a month ago. Only difference is that’s okay when there’s not a disaster or shortage.

Wow! Buoy 42097 has measured a wave height of 20.67 feet about 85 miles from the center of #HurricaneIdalia. Twenty minutes prior to this, Buoy 42023 measured a tropical storm-force wind gust near 50 mph about 125 miles from #Idalia's center!

Seems you could find better use for these than traffic signals
