There seems to be a distinction between degreed meteorologists and country bumpkins who get hard erections over a 384 hour forecast that show a category 7 storm in the central Gulf of Mexico.

I love TD from late summer through the fall. It's when we can hear from a contingent of expert meteorologists and college football prognosticators.

That same heat dome will be the impetus for enhanced Gulf activity this year. For fully three months, the normally warm Gulf has cooked under microwave conditions. The storms that form in September and October will be incorrigible.

I’ve got to give it to you. You post nonsense, people post facts to prove why you are not just wrong but completely don’t understand the science behind what you’re saying, and you keep doubling down.

If this damn high pressure doesn’t move we can’t even get an afternoon shower much less a tropical system.
Elephant in the tropical weather discussion is, when is this damn high pressure system going to move?

Hillary is going to help lake Mead out a lot. The lake has risen 40 feet already this year from the rains and snowpack melt

All of this couldn’t have come at a better time in that area

First, that high pressure system will need to dissipate and move.

Second, September is only 11 days away. Are you forecasting the end of the incorrigibly high temps, and a Labor Day cool front?

Never would have thought we would see a summer where Death Valley is getting more rain than us.
