That’s exceptionally far out so it’s impossible to say. With the way this summer has been it’s likely they’re will be a ridge aloft and high pressure keeping it hot and dry.

No need to ban him. If you have a single brain cell you understand all his posts are gibberish. Besides it provides good comedy when the tropics are dull

The wave in the Gulf is an invest now. 91L

Decent chance this one catches a name right at the end. Not that doing so changes much. A quick moving tropical storm is welcomed.

I’ve got to give it to you. You post nonsense, people post facts to prove why you are not just wrong but completely don’t understand the science behind what you’re saying, and you keep doubling down.

He is a troll or so stupid it’s beyond hope. Either way, he isn’t worth trying to explain to

I ordered 2 subway sandwiches on the app 40 min ago and they aren’t ready yet now I’m sitting in the drive thru and my truck is overheating from the AC because apparently Ram hasn’t figured out how to make a 6.2L that doesn’t overheat when sitting with the AC on

I think it’ll be interesting to see how strong it gets. Could really tell the tale how much these high SSTs will impact storms this season

Recon just left Aruba to check out 90L. Looks like a tight low level circ exists near 14.5 66.5, but we will see what the experts find.

Ppl don't give Mother Nature enough credit.

She's going to do what she does no matter what humans do.

It’s in an area of favorable conditions now. It’s currently over the loop current with low shear. Shear increases in the central Gulf before subsiding close to Texas. Looks like it’ll strengthen today, hold steady or struggle tomorrow, then strengthen up to landfall.

What is an SST and what does it do for storms? I need the dumbed down explanation.

Hurricanes need warm water for the ample energy released from condensation after it evaporates the warm water.

But SSTs are only one piece. People, especially the media, tend to put too much stock in SSTs. Shear, mid-level moisture, and ocean heat content are just as important if not more. Which we’ve seen so far this season.

Id argue more.

SST matter when the uppers and mids play nice.

Indeed.
