It’s not a bad system, but enough to screw with things offshore for oil and gas stuff. This thing needs to get the fck out of here

We need to add tigerbutt and/or HeadSlash complaining about the existence of the thread to the bingo board. At least one of them does it in every weather thread.

Decent gradient over the north-central Gulf of Mexico. Seeing reports of 30-40 knots.

Chevron Platform KVOA - elevation 53 feet

Main Pass 289C (Apache Corp) - elevation 32 feet

They have problems in Fort Lauderdale this evening.

This began as a huge stationary supercell that at least produced a water spout or two. It has just sat there for hours.

This one was offshore, but had a waterspout and, strangely......hail.

Flying down to FLL Sunday thru Friday, will check out the damage while I'm there. JetBlue sent all their employees home around 6pm because the ramp flooded at FLL.

Eta- Nothing has landed since 545pm, every flight has diverted that was heading to FLL. Saw a Laguardia-FLL flight land in Jacksonville and it just took back off for LaGuardia. Wonder if they let passengers off Flight aware for FLL
