FIFY...I would put your chances of leaving Orlando area on Friday at very little if this course holds...Orlando is low lying all around. I-75 and I-4 (up to I-95) will both be nightmares

Yeah safety really isn’t the issue, it’s the inconvenience.
I’m in a safe building and keep power through these things. Can’t flood.
I think they’re turning our water off at 8pm tomorrow, so that might suck.
Feels like an 80% chance we’re heading to Cocoa Beach.

They just moved it N of you, to me. If that holds, I may roll down to Weston. It has all the data to slow down before landfall, but it being such a pig is concerning. Still deciding between Let's run, or Let's rock.

In the top 5 for the Gulf.

This is the scary thing now.
If it continues to intensify like this, what difference will it make if he sucks in dry air before making landfall? The storm surge is still going to be catastrophic.

The hurricane models did predict rapid intensification but this is 6 to 12 hours ahead of even what they were predicting.

The only thing separating us from being in evacuation zone A is I-75. A & B have been told to evacuate. Wednesday is going to be intense. Godspeed to all on the FL gulf coast.

I’m no expert but I’d say this one.

Good thing is you can get pretty cheap flights out. I would take a short vacation somewhere (somewhere with plenty of direct flights).
