Some Mexican birds are going to end up in Tampa and DeSantis will bus them back.

Probably because the underground lines get ripped up when the trees get blown over and it’s just easier to not be losing water all over the system because of breaks.

This will change over time, but Milton has 175 mph max winds, but within 30 miles you drop below 75mph. Wind field is tiny with such a small core. As it cycles and erodes those winds will expand, but max intensity will thankfully come down too.

Is she prepping for a hurricane or is there a cold front right now? Lady, you are too old to be dressing like that with your nipples out. Shame on you.

This thing is a machine. This is rapid intensification at its worst.
Even though Milton will weaken some before landfall, there is a lot of energy in it and it will be pushing a lot of water. I think the storm surge could be some of the most extreme the west coast of Florida has seen.

my Aunt lives in Tampa and doesn't want to leave - I just called my mom and told her to call and get her to leave - she may have a sturdy townhome, but it is no reason to chance it

Bras are not part of her hurricane prep
