Do we need to call out Bingo, or are we playing the Window Pane version?

Also, can Rummy detail the ATX weather for us concerning how FLA will be?

Huh? I’m pointing out the media sensationalizing it a bit by saying it would be the worst storm ever. I’m well aware that Cat 3s are dangerous. But we recently had Hurricane Michael in 2017 that made landfall as a Cat 5 and Andrew in 1992 that did as well.

A storm they knew would be a cat 3 at landfall isn’t in that same ballpark.

None of the media that I've watched said that. What media are you consuming?

Yeah I have my AOW. My son just got certified so we're going to do a little dive at Biscayne.

There’s a huge difference in a weak category 3 and a category 5.

Yes, I’m aware a hurricane of any sort can cause damage. Thank you.

If you have THAT hurricane heading towards one of the most surge prone cities in the country you use whatever language it takes to get people to take it seriously. Period.

It was always forecast to weaken on approach to landfall. Stop with this dumb shite.

No insult to you meant. I’m just remembering the last 2 (Ida and Francine) and am tired.

I don't recall ever seeing a major hurricane degrade so fast while still over open water.

There definitely seems to be a NNE motion rather than just NE. At the moment, it looks like it’s going to be a close call for Tampa.

Most recent recon pass and dropsonde shows 937 pressure and winds ~110 knots (125 mph). We will see what NHC says.
