I betcha with modern radar and obs, we'd of seen that Frederic was chock full of mesovorticies.

I hope not. Mobile worships these oak trees. Limbs are all entangled in power lines because people freak out here is you show them a power saw. One good hurricane has the ability to knock out power for weeks.

New center of cone is practically the same - only 1 mile east shift.

Still Perdido Key east end just SW of Pensacola Naval Air Station.

Depending on eye diameter when it makes landfall, Pensacola could get eyewall.

This update pretty much same as last. Right over Ft. Pickens on Pensacola Beach.
