Can’t tell what’s been said more so far in this thread. 24 hours or blowjobs

To be fair, we’re talking about OysterPoBoy here, so it’s probably more like a blowhobby for him than a job.

It's strange it has most of bad stuff on the NW side of the storm.

Gotta say, looks extratropical by the time it makes landfall on all three of em. Shear opens him up and pushes in the dry air.

Recon making second pass from SE to NW. Should get another true reading of pressure in center of storm here in about 20-30 min.

Only the 12z HWRF tries to hold on to strong system. Extratropical transition will occur rapidly once it starts, given the depicted upper-level setup.

Isaias not looking nearly as impressive on IR satellite as it did earlier this morning. Overshooting of cold cloud tops are less numerous and the largest areas of convection appear decoupled. Suggesting to my untrained weather enthusiast view that it is fighting alignment of its circulation at the lower and mid levels. Shear may already been suppressing what would otherwise be a more robust strengthening period.

It's downshifting at the moment and working on itself

Latest hurricane model runs (max winds and lowest pressure at model increment just before landfall)

HMON - 85 mph and 990 mb at 1 AM Saturday - Ft. Walton / Destin (peak of 975 mb and 115 mph)

HAFS-A - 55 mph and 993 mb at 4 AM Saturday - Dauphin Island (peak of 975 mb and 95 mph)

HAFS-B - 60 mph and 995 mb at 4 AM Saturday - Dauphin Island (peak of 971 mb and 105 mph)

HWRF - 120 mph and 954 mb at 7 PM Friday - AL/FL line (peak of 948 mb and 130 mph)

This is just one run and subject to change. Majority is much weaker near landfall than previous run.

HWRF is still hanging onto a stronger solution due to faster movement to coast before shear hits it.
