We usually go this time of year for the same reasons. Fewer people and cheaper rates.

The progression has been Gulf Shores to Orange Beach, then Orange Beach to Perdido, then Perdido to 30A.

Where do we predict the next migration…..is it a head-fake to Navarre?

I hope they find an excuse to retire this name so we never have to hear it again.

Hopefully they haven’t run out of “I” names.

A quick search of I names I found a few suggestions:
Iñigo: A Basque and Spanish name meaning "my little one".
Ivar: A Norse name meaning "yew warrior".
Iago: The traditional Galician and Welsh form of James.
Imre: A classic Hungarian name meaning "work power".
Ivo: A short Germanic name meaning "yew wood" or "archer"

But we could just cut the crap and stop giving storm names. Just say the storm number like Tropical Storm 1, Hurricane 2; or use the alphabet. Tropical Storm C, Hurricane D; or they can even use the Greek Alphabet, Tropical Storm Alpha, Hurricane Beta.

They’ll probably use Israel for a male Storm name if they have to retire this one.

We were Rosemary Beach devotees. We would go like 6-7 times a year. 30a just got way to crowded.

Now that we have a place in Perdido I would never go back. I think it's perfect here because it's still relatively uncrowded, but it's also super close to Pensacola.

So......you're disputing actual measurements?

FYI: I dispute Idalia because the measurements WEREN'T THERE. These are. You seem dense.

Weird it seems like Pensacola to navarre got the worst of it but seems like it’s the west side of the eye? I’m in niceville also, still have power and honestly I don’t see any fences or trees down on my street. My friends in GB and Navarre have no power and fairly major roof/ tree damage.

It turns out that OPB isn't the biggest dick sucker in this hurricane thread after all. It is you.
