What kind of wind speeds are we looking at with a 890 mb hurricane?

Katrina was 175 mph at 902
Rita was 180 mph at 895
Wilma was 185 mph at 882

In this case, the hype seems justified.

Where in Florida do you evacuate to if the whole state is under the gun? This may make the Rita clusterfrick out of Houston look like an orderly procession.

there's a lot of variance and not a lot of data, but in the Atlantic it's historically 180-190mph

not really throwing in the towel... but it just seems like the chances of a major hurricane hitting somewhere in the US is going up
