In this case, the hype seems justified.
Where in Florida do you evacuate to if the whole state is under the gun? This may make the Rita clusterfrick out of Houston look like an orderly procession.

there's a lot of variance and not a lot of data, but in the Atlantic it's historically 180-190mph
