Meh, that's more for the storm thread. He's a chaser, not really an informational Levi or official source.

Any idea what to expect for the Baltimore area? Ik it’s still far out so probably too early to tell.

tough to say when this thing comes in if it stalls, where it stalls, how long it stalls, and what direction it takes when inland, too early to tell for Maryland

I just saw on the news that after landfall, this storm is going to probably stall or move very slow dumping rainfall amounts like Harvey did in Houston. I hope everyone stays safe that is located in the path of this storm

There are others but they can be a bit more technical than would be useful here imho. Levi's fantastic at explaining it simple but knows his shite.

All of MD is under a State of Emergency issued earlier today. Very likely Baltimore will see flooding, at least in the harbor areas. You may want to see what the ships/boats in harbor are doing to get an idea of what to expect. I believe Annapolis is moving many of its ships out to sea already, as are many ports in Virginia. In general, Maryland is likely to see extensive flooding, even fresh water flooding, especially given the large amounts of rain we have already had recently.

You can disagree with a LOT of things on this website, but when push comes to shove we seem to back off and make a very serious effort to help.
Wish I could contribute more.

Few tips from an NFIP Adjuster here if you have Flood insurance and are affected...

1. Take good overview photos of each room before you evacuate

2. If your adjuster sets an inspection time days or even weeks out, document the interior water mark with photos and begin to remediate your damages. Even with 3” of water it’s acceptable to cut drywall out to 4’, along with cabinetry and doors. Your Adjuster does not have to view the damage prior to your remediation efforts. Don’t let them tell you that.

3. Salvage all comodes, sinks, and showers. The policy typically pays to clean and re-install these items.

4. Begin a contents inventory you will need the ROOM,Item Description, Age, and Cost

5. Upon your Adjuster’s inspection ALWAYS REQUEST AN ADVANCE PAYMENT. We’re dealing with the Govt here so getting cash flow going is important to rebuilding your home.

If Anyone here has any specific questions feel free to PM me. Good luck to those in the path of this storm.
