Props OP. The actual updates, particularly those from NHC, can get lost quickly in the other thread with all of the discussion.

Thank you for this and all of the links. I can come here on my phone especially during a possible evacuation

Thanks OP! Another source of info for us in the region. Good luck all. This is going to suck for some on the Atlantic coastline.

In North Carolina we have Duke Energy and Four County Electric. Four of the counties near the coast including mine Pender have this company for power

I don't know why but I just have a feeling that the track is going to be a tad south than what is currently being predicted (somewhere between Little River and Wilmington). I feel there is going to be a wobble in the next day or two. Hope I'm wrong.

After I evacuate to Atlanta, please send the jet to take me to Vegas.

I'm just outside of the mandatory evacuation area. I never leave anyways. I made it through Hugo, so unless a storm at least matches that, i'm not worried. I will say it's funny watching all the new Yankee transplants go nuts when they find out one is coming though.

What part of NC are you in? I'm actually working at one of the Duke Energy facilities right now

He's one of the best, has a calm demeanor and only gives facts. Not sure of any others but if I hear if any I will let you know. Thanks for doing this.

What drives people to think like this? You’re not too cool to get swallowed by a hurricane, bro
