Is anyone considering going to the Wilmington area after this passes?

I would if I didn’t have to work. I would like to someday payback some help with storm clean up that random good samaritans helped my family with after Katrina.

I've been through a dozen hurricanes. The worst part about it for me is cleaning up all the tree limbs, granted I have less to worry about now. Now that I think about it, the worst part will be going without power for 3-4 days. I have plenty of water and food.

Entergy Is already staging ~330 linemen ready to help our fellow Americans to restore power. If necessary I am sure we will send more!

I hope that if the evacuation area moves to include you, you will leave. If you don't, don't call 911.

Awesome. I had character limit issues, so I had to screenshot them.

You’re doing a great job, Rome. Don’t tell them about the snakes, tho

I remember after Gustav, the crews working to restore my power were from North Carolina. Thanks for the reciprocal support for them.

I'll update em as they come in (and I'm awake...so the 4 am is gonna be a late update). I think the link will refresh automatically, so it'll just be updating the text screenshot.

I think McMasters said he has already pre-positioned over 3,000 emergency personnel for the storm so South Carolina is ready for it. Love the support we get from other parts of the state and other states for our recovery, particularly with power.
