What purpose does it serve to try to make bold predictions like this? Unless you can tell me with 100% certainty that what you say is true, no one should change any of their plans/preparations.
What kind of prep do you need to do for low end tropical storm winds? People are so soft.

Do you have any idea what those winds are capable of? Lawn chairs might blow over!

I plan on sitting under my carport and enjoying a little breeze before going to bed cause there’s no way work will be cancelled tomorrow.

People are such drama queens.
I went out and made sure the cover on my grill was real tight.
Gordon prep complete.

Could anyone give a time line for the rains to be in the BR area? We will be planning a funeral this morning for my MIL for tomorrow.

Cant pinpoint timing of rain. All you can do is watch the radar for squall lines coming through.

New Orleans schools closed today and Wednesday. People wanted a longer Labor Day weekend.
This thing is going to be long gone by Wednesday morning in New Orleans.
It was hilarious hearing Jay Grymes telling people in BR that the timing for this may work out to where neither Tuesday or Wednesday will be disrupted in BR with it passing by at night. You could hear the collective sky scream from the city.

All MS coast schools closed today. Probably tomorrow too, but they will announce that later.
