In Mobile and I cleared Walmart of all their bottled water and beef jerky. Hopefully I can survive a possible power outage that probably won’t happen.

Now if the internet goes down and my 3 year old can’t watch tangled or elana god help us all.

Tangipahoa parish president said last night around 11 that lower Tangi could get up to 10 inches of rain. I find that hard to believe if no rain is on the west side of this storm.

Weather wise you ought to be fine, but I can't speak to the wisdom of traveling to BR.

I’ll be working a half day in Nola today

NHCs scale of when we’ll start feeling some of the wind effects in Nola this afternoon

Id say there is almost no chance NOLA gets legit tropical storm force winds. Maybe occasional gusts around 40

Also there is a penis at the top of that chart so i dont trust it

What purpose does it serve to try to make bold predictions like this? Unless you can tell me with 100% certainty that what you say is true, no one should change any of their plans/preparations.

So just to update for BR nothing more than a usual afternoon of rain with maybe a little wind?

You always plan like a category above. So in NOLA or BR, where the expectation is under TS force keep planning like you'll get low end TS impacts.

Cosmo is very likely on the money with NOLA missing impacts, but best to have that generator and window unit ready to go just in case.
