RDS, how often do you update the OP??

For those of us who don’t post in this thread, it would be convenient AF if you could keep that updated with the current situation and the forecast so we don’t have to scroll through 10+ pages to find the most up to date info

If you do this already, please disregard this post.. thanks for your (and everyone else’s) contributions

Doesn’t that mean it would hammer GA and SC instead?

wish people would stop being so hardheaded on climate change. I'm not saying this is happening here but there's absolutely no denying that climate changing is happening around the world. Anyone who says otherwise is absolutely ignorant. What you CAN'T say is humans are solely responsible for climate change because there's not enough scientific evidence to back that claim up.

No joke! It amuses me how a hurricane comes at FLORIDA in the heart of HURRICANE SEASON and this draws the Climate Changer/AGW crowd out like clockwork.

So when there are earthquakes in California and off the coast of Oregon like say...today, what's their excuse for that? OMG...must be climate change! Good grief folks, get a grip or an education but either way a hurricane hitting Florida in September is COMMON. We even went a few years recently without having any land-falling hurricanes. Was that climate change at work as well? Mercy!

Images are hot linked to the NHC and update in real-time.

ETA: if you live in an area that might be impacted by the storm then refer the local NWS office, they are in close coordination with the NHC.

He updates it when the new NHC advisory comes out every few hours.

Oh, if you look in the bottom left corner of the graphic from the nhc, it says when it was last updated

I don’t like that south trend. Needs to turn north. Of course it would then pull a Jeanne and loop right back into us.

But Dorian is looking like Frances. Also a Labor Day hit. Looks like a very similar track so far. 2004

Ugh. I spent 3 days behind a chainsaw in 2004.

It's pretty good when it shows an extreme scenario. Not that many actually reach that level but it's typically a good sign for intensification.

That ridge is continuing to weaken apparently. That’s a good thing as it’s trending toward no landfall. Whether it keeps trending that way...who knows. Just the last update they were projecting a dead hit into the coast, now it’s glancing blow up the peninsula. Let’s hope it continues frick off.

I've been hearing all day that this thing was basically no longer a big time Gulf threat.

I guess that was very wrong...

Did you not see the post predicting this along with the eruption of yellow stone but after the comet hits? Come on man! where have you been?

Looks like Euro has the ridge even stronger in this run pushing it further south
