Adds up. Why would anyone with options move to BFE Alabama?

Huntsville is not BFE. It’s a very nice area. Lots of growth and things to do. It’s close to Atlanta, Chattanooga, Nashville and Birmingham. The mountains and the beaches are just a few hours away.

I’d move back tomorrow if I could.

ETA: I guess I should clarify my personal definition of “close”. If I can take a day trip there and back I consider it close. Having lived in Huntsville for 15 years, I took many day trips to those places.

it’s two hours away from Birmingham... it’s BFE as far as attracting out of state talent

I have lived in south Huntsville and Hampton Cove the last few years. The closure of Cecil Ashburn Dr made Governors/431 the ultimate test of patience.

You talking about 565 or 72? Either way I drive them daily and they are pristine especially 565.

Say what? 72 through Huntsville will beat you to death. It's worse than I59 north from Birmingham to the GA state line.

I drive 72 between Sparkman and Hughes daily. It was just recently refinished between Jordan and 255. It’s a well maintained road.

not really.... but if it makes you feel better you can tell yourself that.

If you can’t take a quick Uber to enjoy your favorite spots in the downtown area, then claiming all those cities is just silly, because it’s not like you’re able to enjoy them anymore than anyone else that can vacation.
