Back in the day I found Stern more entertaining than anything that came on tv.

If he is having meetings like this to tell fart jokes, and be sexually free on the air, he has become who he railed against. See Private Parts, his movie.
It is also probably why he is doing only doing like 3 days a week every few weeks with best ofs in between.
Don’t get me wrong, this man has produced a lot of content in his lifetime, but as some people say in show business it is better to go out on top instead of mailing it in the last few years only to see your brand suffer. When re-airing and re-editing all of your old interviews, you are doing just that.

I completely understand what you're saying, but things change when you're worth $600+ million.

That video is like a year old. Almost every radio show has talked about it ad nauseam as they are all guys that were inspired by Stern and now know that he really is just a phony piece of shite.

Stern is a pathetic shell of himself. This video proves it.

Never realized it was that hard to get guest on a show.
Seemed to be desperate.

What a loser!
You know that guy drives around in a $19,000 minivan and his wife cheats on him. He might have a Ferrari or whatever but he's too chickenshit to even drive it.

Good stuff - 2013
To me it appears that he’s addressing a staff that is acting like they don’t have clarity and has become complacent. He’s kicking them in the balls and telling them ‘this is our goal’, ‘this is your role’, now go get your job done.

His strategy worked. The quality of his guests increased significantly in the last 7 years.

He is one of the best interviewers I’ve ever heard.

Man, if I were even half as rich as Howard Stern I wouldn't even know how to spell Powerpoint.
frick. THAT. shite. Dude's 100% missing the point.

First picture will be around for awhile as a meme template, like the Lisa Simpson one. Bet

This is true but part of Howard’s draw was making interviews with B or C list stars really entertaining. Supposedly, he got a female producer (maybe wrong title) who convinced him to take the show in a different direction. No more Wendy the Retatrd or Gary the Retard, less Sybian and raunch, and A list stars were coaxed to come on the show.
Howard talks about how much therapy he’s had and how he used to act out because he was angry. Robin Williams’ death really affected Howard because Howard was a dick to him many years ago and was planning to apologize and make amends.
He’s older and mellowed and I rarely listen now but I still laugh out loud at the Sal and Richard prank calls.

He’s a multi million dollar corporation. His radio show has always been planned with a strategy and goals. You just don’t see that when he’s on air. Howard didn’t just become what he is because he winged. He always had a plan, vision and a lot of hard work behind the scenes.
