This instantly made me think of the scene in Volcano where Stan, who is the same guy that played Drew Carey's cross dressing brother, saves the guy in the subway by tossing him 50 feet while he's melting in lava.

Reminds me of a scene in the South Park episode Volcano where South Park is saved by rediverting the lava into a trench.

Where did the lava end up coming out? Denver.

If that fails, then you have to switch gears. You don't stop the lava flow. You get into the nearest truck and drive it into an abandoned mineshaft, nearly killing yourself but ultimately protecting yourself. You have to get another truck because your original truck, that you drove across a creek under water, has been destroyed by the aforementioned lava.
