Not disclosing that the kid might not be his is about the cruelest thing a woman could do to a man. I honestly don’t know how you could still love her after that. She clearly has zero respect or human decency if she’d lie about something that important.

Why not just stop paying support once you get the paternity test back negative? Immediatey file to get your name off the birth cert. If she takes you to court in those interim five months, you show the DNA test and ask for summary judgment.

He was advised by his attorney to pay while the process took place. It was 15 so or years ago. I don’t remember why just remember him bitching about paying it rightfully so.

I guess it depends on how old the child is when you find out? Finding out immediately after the child is born *might* make it easier to peace out? Don’t know. Don’t have kids. Can’t imagine being able to trust someone after that though.

I think this is the key. If you find out immediately, you will also find out how quickly you can fall out of love with someone. Hit the road, Jack.

If you spend time with and bond with the child, then it becomes much more difficult. There's a big, huge difference between being a sperm donor and being a father. The longer you are the child's dad, the harder it would be to separate. You don't have to love the momma to love the child.

I imagine it would be difficult to just up and leave, especially if you're madly in love with the woman.

WHAT?!

Does that person have zero self respect? That bitch would be out on her own with her bastard child in less than 3 hours

A $hi77y situation but the husband's name is on the birth certificate and depending on the judge, he still might be liable for child support. It would take some mighty heavy forgiving on his part.

The bastard baby is evidence of one bad decision on her part which is much more weighty than a bad decision on the man's part. Same situation, different angles to consider.

If I had my current kids and that happened well that’s a big divorce. If we had no kids of my own and I had nothing else to live for? Might just end it.

Are we talking months to a year or are we talking about several years plus?

Months-year I wouldn’t think twice about kicking her to the curb.

2 years and longer would be a lot harder to answer. At that point in time it would be more about my relationship to the kid and how I could handle what it was going to do to its heart and mine. F the mom but the kid at that age would be the issue, not the mom.

They made paternity testing illegal without a court order in France because of how many men turned out not to be the father.

Do we think only French women are treacherous?

Immediate divorce.

A guy I work with started dating this girl with a young kid, I think just under a year old (dad died). The kid is five now, and they split and the mom is not letting him see the kid. He’s devastated. It’s not his kid, he knew that and chose to raise him anyway.

That would be the hard part I wouldn’t know how to handle.

This is one of the primary reasons you don't date/marry single moms. You develop a bond with the kid and if things go south with the mom, the kid goes with her since it's not yours.

Yeah, it is his cross to bear. He’s a really good guy, I feel for him.

A woman like this sounds like the ultimate creampie . She’s good in bed if you get at this point you’re fricked.
