Man thats a tough one, especially if you raised the kid as your own for years. Id 100% cut the woman off but leaving the kid would probably be rough.

This happened to a friend of mine. He was so excited to be having a baby with his girlfriend, whom they had recently gotten back together. They planned to get married after the birth but then something funny happened….. his mom took one look at the baby and said “that baby isn’t yours”. After a month, he had a paternity test done and his mom was right that it wasn’t his baby. He kicked her out and moved on. Now happily married with a child that is actually his

Don't think I would want to be haunted by the questions that would come up.

Married? File for divorce ASAP, so you’re not financially obligated to raise another guy’s kid.

Not married? Just walk away.

What kind of fricking idiot would stay with a bitch who had a kid from another man let alone raise that little bastard?

True.

I don’t think I’d be in love any more.

Have a friend that works in labor/delivery and a while back a lily white couple brought a beautiful bouncing Afro topped baby boy into the world. Probably would have needed security immediately for me.

Shitty part was he had to pay child support for 5 months until he could get his name off the BC. Ended up costing him $10K in legal fees.

Honest question here, I'm not an expert on family law.

Why not just stop paying support once you get the paternity test back negative? Immediatey file to get your name off the birth cert. If she takes you to court in those interim five months, you show the DNA test and ask for summary judgment.

Also if this were me I would be livid, but think about what this does to the child in question. Talk about a recipe for a completely screwed up kid. No idea who dad is, the dad he/she knew is rejecting them, mom is a ho, no child support....

That kid is completly screwed. As a father I cannot imagine the damage that would do to a kid.

People who screw up childrens' lives should be shot after the kids goes off to college.
