I walk super fast. As much as I forget things I’m zipping back and forth from truck to house and back over and over lol wiping out the wife in the corners of the house

Yes, it is called gait. It’s long established as a medical indicator that doctors monitor

Doctors where?

I have annual health check and have gone to the Dr for many decades. It goes more like this:

Cholesterol a bit high, do this.
A1C on border, do this.

If word gait ever came up, probably related to fence (gate).

I walk fast relative to others, but it's mostly because I'm tall and take long strides. Since being tall may cut your life short relative to being short, I don't know what to feel here.

It's doubtful that you can fix this by just speeding up your walking. Probably fast walking and longevity correlate to the same factors.

Fast walkers probably feel more energetic and pain free while slow ones feel pain and low energy. Hard to tell what the real source is or if the tail is wagging the dog.

All that really says is that no matter your lifestyle, genetics plays an insurmountable role in longevity and you can only swing it marginally one way or the other, in regards to how you conduct yourself. Not that you shouldn’t try, but you also shouldn’t make it your entire life. Live a little, work out on a regular schedule. Let the chips fall as they may to a certain extent.

Throw in the diagonal walkers who repeatedly get in the way with zero court awareness makes you just want to smack 'em

I use to walk fast everywhere I went. Had a friend fuss at me for walking too fast. Slowed down that day and for some reason I never went back. Now my back forbids it.
