This, and after it had been sitting for several hours in an environment ripe for bacteria. Perhaps the thieves ended up with a case of stomach cramps and diarrhea.

I think the careless part was you driving your pregnant wife home after you had been drinking all day

Next home game, do the same thing, only make sure the food gives them the shits for a solid week. Not sure how to give someone food poisoning, but at least you will feel vindicated.

You can tell the age of people by their reactions to this scenario

No matter the age, I guarantee that at one point of your life you stole beer as a minor

I think it was just some assholes. When I was a student I always remember after games if you just walked around tailgate areas people couldn't give you their leftover food quick enough. People were always handing out free shite so if they were just looking for food they definitely didn't need to steal it.

but, this board believes that anything that is not nailed down, locked and protected by armed guards should be stolen.

No we don't. We just believe that you cant really be upset if you leave something out around 100k people and it gets taken. Doesn't excuse the thieves but you gotta expect it to happen sadly

Do you really think kids stealing beer out of ice chests is some new phenomenon?

It's stealing, but it's so common and so widespread that it's almost a game. If you go to a game, especially as a visiting fan, you gotta lock all that shite up. Otherwise your beer is gonna be gone and your magnets and car flags are going to be decorating someone's fraternity house room for the next couple years.

I feel bad about it, but I was involved in some pretty serious capers in my time.

In fairness, you could leave jewelry lying about and nobody would have taken it, but if you don't secure liquor and beer around 16-20 year olds, well, that's on you.

the contents of ice chests for LSU games are almost for sure going to be emptied if left unnatended. Has happened to us multiple times.

Wish we could shoot these losers on the spot
