Definitely. It’s 2019. People suck

At least they didn’t take the ice chest itself and only the contents

the contents of ice chests for LSU games are almost for sure going to be emptied if left unnatended.

I know Yeti's get a bad rap for some reason but they make locks for them so this doesn't happen unless they really want what is in there and then they just cut the lock. However, they are generally taking the whole ice chest when they do that.

we used to have a huge tailgate by engineering, satellite, multiple tvs, the works, as stated, we'd put two huge ice chests full of cheap beer right up front between the tent and the curb, we'd encourage people walking by to partake, all of the liquor and good beer(who really cares at a tailgate?) were moved back beneath the serving tables, never had anything other than the hospitality beer taken that I'm aware of

On a scale from aw shucks to Im going to shoot someone over it.

I would say it would be worth a good "those motherfrickers!" while pumping your fist in the air.

Go to the next game with two vehicles and park one where you can easily see your truck. Fill your ice chest with beer bottles that are half full of piss, and half beer. Screw the tops back on.

Video it from your second vehicle. Put it on YouTube. Use profits to buy more beer.

I'm always amazed at the stuff people leave in the beds of their trucks. I'm more amazed how little of it gets stolen at stores like walmart, etc. I'm not surprised at places like Lowes, home depot, etc. Their base is hard working people who are much less likely to steal.

Yeah, I just never get the response I am supposed to when people invoke their wife being pregnant or "you do that to MY kids and see what happens"

My wife was mean as a rattlesnake pregnant and my kids can hold their own most the time, little bullshite things are not going to kill em.

I cant imagine cooking for the rest of the week at a tailgate, but I do appreciate the thieves just taking the food and not the hardware

Is it that hard to comprehend kids stealing beer from an ice chest left unattended?

We used to swipe beer from outside refrigerators, and this was in the mid '70's. I still have a Falstaff Bicentennial can that was lifted from a neighbor's refrigerator, and I think I have a Billy Beer can somewhere in my trunk of treasures.

We were driving out in the country drinking beer one time when I was a teenager. We saw an ice chest in the tall grass and went to investigate. We thought it was going to be some gross fish heads or something. It was an iced down case of beer.

We stole it. I am still waiting on the punch in the mouth that I deserve.

Student, we did that as students on our walk back home from games 20+ years ago, would only raid for beers

Some people were hungry. On the upside you must be a good cook if they ate your stuff.

I learned my lesson leaving my Golf Clubs in my truck bed while getting dinner at a nice mall in Tampa.

Don't leave shite in the bed that you value.

Eh, can't you get in trouble for leaving alcohol unsecured if minors took it as well?

So in all actuality, how upset should the 14 year olds, or their parents, that ended up with your beer be?

When i picked up truck, before my bed cover came in, i left my large ice chest in the box, i came out after the game, reached into the cooler for a water... and found it completely empty, food, beer, condiments, they even dumped out the ice... That was the last time i've ever left a ice chest unlocked.
