There are relatively straightforward ways to do it but our moral codes do not agree with extreme measures.

For example, we could create a law where illegal weapons are punishable by death. When the consequences are severe, behavior is forced to change. However, we as a society would not accept such harsh penalties.

I am in favor of rewarding academic achievements as a way to break the cycle. Reward success and make that success achievable.

In the end, we will always have varying socioeconomic stratas as there is a normal distribution of skill and intelligence in humans. The argument today is that there are highly capable individuals that are held back due to circumstance and those are the ones who need a glimmer of opportunity.

I do not believe that everyone can be at least "middle class" (whatever that actually means) but I do believe we can drive up the SOL for all (better than any point of history, especially for the worst off in society).

Exactly. Legal drugs does not equal free drugs.

The crackheads will still break into your car and house to feed their habit whether drugs are legal or not.

And I guarantee if every known drug was legalized tomorrow, something even stronger and more addicting will be invented by next week.

Disincentive having children for many. That's speaking directly to the back of town and all of the white trash. Abortion rates would have to increase as well. The less kids that are born that will grow up to be degenerates the faster you solve this problem. That's the only way because is way too far gone to ever be changed through lighter measures. Education system won't do shite to fix this problem because it has everything to do with lack of parenting, being a bloodsucking leach on society, having no pride, and having a massive sense of entitlement. We are completely fricked because of how much this has run amuck.

Education System for starters

I agree that education is important, but I'm not so sure that schools and teachers are the problem. You could take the best teachers in the nation and put them in a school where the students go home to parents that don't give a damn, and the students are still going to struggle. Too much of the burden is being placed on the Department of Education. Teachers are supposed to present the material and try their best to explain it. Parents are supposed to reinforce and supplement at home. Problem is, single mom of multiple kids either doesn't have the time to make sure the child does homework and studies, or single mom is out in dem streets trying to find a baller, meanwhile little Marquise is left to tend to younger siblings or run the streets.

I'm all for always improving education, but I don't think that is the answer to this problem.

I'd burn it all to the ground and then pick up everyone and send them to their own pre-made island that had everything they needed to survive. I'd have a structured immigration process in place to bring back those willing to live correctly in society.

These people shooting each other didnt get those guns legally.

Its weird how dems want gun control but are against harsh sentences for crimes committed with guns?

Its this. Small portion can overcome but shitty or no parenting early on in ones life is a severe detriment.

I agree. But this would be turned into "institutional racism" by the left, being that a large part of those sent away would be minorities.

Definitely an option.A bigger Community Oriented Police presence.

But I think Social Programs that promote and encourage Education,Church,Family,Cultural enrichment.Getting people doing constructive instead of destructive activities may take a generation.

Whatever is going on now isn't working very well, imo.

It's a sad situation when the gangs rule the streets, which is the way figure it is.

Also unconstitutional. You don't seem to be a believer in US Constitution.

Evacuation. Air drop leaflets letting them know each area is going to demolished. Sell the property to investors/developers. Bus the evacuees to remote scattered locations where basic education and technical training is offered. Every evacuee will be drug tested. Those on drugs will be tested monthly thereafter until they are clean. Put them to work on infrastructure type jobs, etc. Stop welfare; stop paying poor people to have children they can't support. Yes, it's basically hyper/forced gentrification but it's better than the current state of affairs.

The root of the problem is women are giving up their poon too easy, that's it. Unprotected sex with multiple men needs to be lowered.

As said, I think forced work for anyone under 22. You either go to school, go to the military, or you are sent to a work camp.

Also, stricter laws on child support for those unemployed. It should be a minimum per kid, we got to stop letting these POS work $8/ hour jobs or sell drugs when they have multiple kids. Forced hard labor like inner city sewer work, street cleanup, landscaping, etc.

The free meals has to stop.

If your going to quote him then at least read the statement - "illegal possession of firearms"

People that have been convicted aren't allowed to own or carry firearms.

Firearms aren't illegal. Being in possession of a firearm as a felon, with drugs, or a stolen firearm is illegal. People that would do either of the 3 should be sent away for good. It wouldn't be unconstitutional to do so.
