if you want govt assistance and you are an unmarried mother
you get an IUD and job training
if you are a married mother, the husband gets a public works type job and trade schooling
if you are an able bodied male you just go get a job

I know a 20 year old guy that is expecting his 6th child with the 4th different woman. Makes 8 bucks an hour and quits his job every time the garnishment notice shows up at the job. Happy as a lark about it too

I think incentivizing birth control would help tremendously. The government could offer cash bonuses to get birth control implants every three years. Also, the government can't incentivize child birth anymore. A woman who has five children and pays for groceries with an EBT card should not drive a $90,000 range rover. This check per child system has to go.
The system we have in place now is the most racist thing government has ever created.

These threads are always a waste of words. The left has gotten things to the point where you cannot actually talk about the real problems. If you can't even bring the issues up, how can they be solved?
That's why they put the burden on schools and cops, who are reacting to the symptoms of this dysfunction and not the causes.

How to stop inner city violence
There is no way to stop inner city violence per se. I think you can try and diminish it some, but when the root of the problem (in my opinion) goes to the lack of family makeup, it's impossible to stop.
Single mothers popping out children like an oceanic sunfish doesn't help the problem. With no real family structure, these kids turn to gangs, violence, and drugs.

what ever happened to reform schools?

Legalize drugs.
Some drugs (marijuana) yes. Others, absolutely not. To think people would use them responsibly is absolutely absurd.
So many people would be fricked up at all times during the day. Imagine going to a show, dinner, a game, to work, and having some people high on a concoction of psychocybin, cocaine, heroin, and alcohol.

We already have this.
The Terry v. Ohio threshold is fairly low and can easily be justified in most situations.
Police officers, and I don't blame them one bit, don't want to initiate a bunch of them in high-crime areas.

It's not just inner cities or a race thing. It is anywhere with poverty. That can be rural places too The main source of the problem is kids being raised by single parents i.e. no daddy.
Wife is a teacher in a rural area (all white) and you would not believe some of the stories of things they have seen and what teachers have to deal with

Bingo. It goes to the lack of family makeup. At the end of the day, some people are just nothing more than pieces of shite. Seriously. They have no worth and value to society.

I keep seeing this and I just don't understand. How would legalizing drugs make the problem any better? You think these knuckleheads will stop shooting over drugs being legal? Legal drugs will make the teen pregnancy issue better? Pleas explain because I just can't get my mind around it

There will always be violence in the world. Usually where there is a poor population. You can try and control it or move those ppl somewhere else but it won't stop.

I don't get it either. I understand and support the legalization of marijuana, but drugs in general? No way. I think it would have a tremendous negative impact to society.
Drug users are not going to use them responsibly. You'll have people out of their minds at all hours of day. Every city would be a debauchery. It would make walking the streets substantially more unsafe. When someone's cracked out or mixes up an interesting blend of drugs, you'll have no idea what they are likely to pull.

Banish career criminals from the country. Pay some third world government $10k each to take them off our hands. 3 strikes and your gone.

(1) No increase of welfare after 2nd illegitimate kid
(2) Heavy police force
(3) Ban on Section 8
(4) Demolish any property abandoned more than 6 months and put the land up for auction.
(5) Have the DA do their job and keep the Alton Sterlings of the world in jail and not on the street.

The problems associated with the inner city are directly correlated to the vast amount of free time the young people have there. We must cut off funding for these people.
If people had to work to pay for food and housing, they wouldnt have time to wander the streets. They would become frustrated with low paying jobs and work on improving themselves to get out of poverty rather than being content in it.
No work truly drives people insane. People are meant to work. As funding is cut off to individuals, money can then be spent on career centers and occupation based education.

I agree with bamafan 100%. And if we could coerce the inner city to start working, it would drive the illegals out due to lack of jobs. Two problems solved.
