WWL had a graphic and story on their front page about the hospitals being "overrun." It showed the different phases and mask mandate with the eb and flow of the number of cases. They conveniently left the return the phase 2 off the graphic and the spike that continued despite the return to phase 2.

I wish both sides would try to find some middle ground instead of taking a political position and digging in. Locking down the world indefinitely imposes unacceptable costs. Most reasonable people would agree with that. At the same time, it's absurd not to take some precautions like being more careful than usual in public, to include maybe wearing a mask. Nobody on either side wants to give an inch though, and that's tragic.
