I use a bug zapper disguised as a tennis racket. It catches them unawares.

I've been living here over 25 years and I may have seen 2 flies.
What I've had off and on over the years is gnats. I finally discovered the best cure for those and any other random flying insect you may not be aware of.

I keep one of these near the entrance to kill whatever might be buzzing around my door before it gets in and if it evades me and gets in I chase it around until I get it.

I must be lucky or doing something right because I have never had flies in my house.

I just pay for the services of a jam boy.

If you don't know what a jam boy is, Google it.

Wait until they land on a window and spray them with Windex.

It coats their wings, they fall, and they can’t fly. Pick them up. Wipe your window and make it cleaner than it was before.

No need for foil or coins. Duck pickers have just bags with water around the picking shed and it works like magic

No my wife is psycho when one gets in the house.

It’s small like 3x4 and puts off a blue light. Very unobtrusive and takes care is the 1-2 flies that get in during the summer. (I don’t have a screen door and I have young kids that leave does open)

You can use this $36 plug-in gadget from Amazon to get rid of houseflies with zero effort and mess.

I use a mixture of vinegar and baking soda. Use bleach too. Pour bleach into drain and then the other stuff and cover drain opening bf going to bed. On those things start multiplying it’s a nightmare. You can google too for more suggestions.
