I remember they put up those speeding vans in LP that gave out tickets and the LP residents started shooting up the vans. Eventually it became unprofitable due to the damage to their vehicles

The Advocate ran an article back in 2016 that said they are entirely unenforceable. If a rag like that suggests people don’t pay them, you shouldn’t do it. Straight in the trash.

I paid one for my father in law a few years back to make him feel better. I think it was $40. He was paranoid about it so it was worth it for peace of mind for him.

I got a buddy who used to be a cop and he was acting like these cameras shouldn't be legal. He said that the officer calibrates the radar gun every day, and is supposed to verify the calibration for you if they pull you over for speeding. Not sure how this happens with a camera sitting there. But yeah I'm currently contesting them and it has been almost 2 weeks since I sent it in, so we'll see what happens. My plan is to not pay them. If you want to get me for speeding, let a human catch me. Don't be using some big brother shite to get people.
