Thought about the ICE route. All I've got is his name, number, and Venmo.
That’s probably enough info to hand over to ICE.
Especially when you tell them he’s scammed lots of people.
Just don’t say you hired him. They might grab you for hiring illegals, and you’ll wake up in a cartel controlled prison in Tijuana being passed around like a bag of chips.

Don't know if this has been said......but post his cell # here and let the OT handle it from there.
I am sure his phone would be flooded with plenty of great calls and comments!

Id drive there, find him, and when away from his equipment, id put some not so great stuff in his best mower's tank.
And climb under truck and remove his oil drain plug.
And never ever call him again, besides sending a monthly invoice

There is a well known Florida Satire novelist that wrote a book about a man reacting to a scammer that stole his mother's life savings. great read. Jump to the conclusion, bad guy is staked out on an oyster reef naked, with deer flies in abundance, a rising tide and a 12 foot alligator watching. You could do that in Cocodrie or Point au Chein

Can you not take him to small claims court? Honestly don't know how that works, but if you truly think he's not here legally than taking him to court would likely get your work done with a quickness.

You should have made your tenant replace the bush.

What's his name? Post his info. Let the OT go to work.

Text him from a friend’s number. Say you’re in a bind and need a small job done quickly and he was recommended.
Tell him you have everything needed on site and just need the work done. Promise 10x his rate. Say he can meet you at a hotel lobby and you’ll give him the keys to garage and the address (enticing to thieves because they know there is more valuable equipment there).
If he agrees, wait for him there. If you can’t be there, have your buddy meet him to confront him.
Your guy is a drug addict. He might show up. He probably won’t be armed because he would have sold it for drug money.

Cat Facts is the only answer

Are you positive that he didn't die?

You enter someone's phone number and it will send them facts about cats. Aggressively. Constantly. For as long as you've set the paramaters to do it.
Although I just looked at the website and to my extreme disappointment, they've now added a stop feature. The recipient can simply text STOP and they'll stop, so I take back my suggestion. This fricking sucks. Back in the day when it was new there was no way to stop it.
