You Venmo’d an illegal $300 to have him remove a bush?
I need some schmuck customers like you

If he is replacing shrubs, then that is against Louisiana law. You need a landscaping license to do anything other than cutting lawns.

Go to Barnes and Noble, go to the magazine section, pull out all the subscriptions cards in them and fill out his information and bombard him with women’s magazines

Mine was way worse. Still one of the dumbest things I’ve ever done.
I was 19 or 20 in Seattle and saw a group of Muslims working the Walmart parking lot, pulling dents for cheap. I already knew they were hustling, but I figured even a half-assed job would be better than what I was looking at. A couple months earlier I’d gotten drunk at the river bar and smashed the driver-side kicker panel pretty good. So I walked up to one of the gold-chain wearing crowbar/hammer toting musies and haggled over the money if they could get the dings out.
What followed was comedy. They sprayed the whole panel with what I’m about 90% sure was just shaving cream, drilled a couple holes in the bottom and side of the door frame, and then just beat the absolute shite out of it with wood blocks, pry bars, and screwdrivers. I stood there watching them destroy my bottom door frame and thought, “Bro… these dudes are fricking my shite up.”
Somehow they got the shape roughly right, piled on more foam, smoothed it over, and told me not to wash it for 24 hours. It looked fine on the surface and I couldn’t prove anything was still jacked underneath, so I haggled them down from $200 to $150, paid up, and they left with a quickness, like all 5-6 of them
Piled in a small car that was obviously staged for them and pulled up as soon as they had the money.
Took me about thirty seconds of sitting in my truck thinking about it before it hit me. I circled that parking lot looking for them and kept an eye out for over a year drive by and stopping any time I saw anyone hustling the parking lots in the area. Never saw them again. I straight got got.
I’m old enough now that I can laugh my arse off about it, even if I’m still a little embarrassed. Anytime someone asked about the panel the next day at work or over then next couple months. I just told them I did it myself — “drilled two holes and beat the dents out with a prybar.”
Ha

For 1 bush? I don't know how to get him back but moving forward, if you're in the BR area I'll do that job for $250. Payment up from not required. Let me know if you're interested.

Dispute the charge on your credit card and get your money back.
Exercise caution on getting revenge. Making people aware of him is the safest route.

What? At least have some fun with him. Call 911, box in his vehicle, beat him with a bat, something.

I would say use different numbers on messaging apps to schedule appointments at very remote, out of the way places just to frick with the guy. But since its in Texas that might get him shot so don't do that
My grandad and my uncles used to beat people up pretty badly any time anyone was even just sort of bad to them in any business sense, and eventually word got around and people either didn't screw them over or they avoided doing business with them at all
Kind of sucks we don't live in a world where you can do that anymore, though I will say I think they went over the top a few times.
