Trying to preserve our ability to have gay trans men twerk in public?

Thankfully we won in 1945 so that today we get to also enjoy this:

Trans dolls for kids with removable genitalia

To answer a question asked in this thread.
He was asking about gloves on or off against Nazi Germany, not Iran.

Even with gloves on and directed strikes, it would be over before they knew it.

Yes I know. I would say Venezuela was kinda gloves off and that was pretty quick...we easily could have take it over.

Good point, misread the way that was worded.

Will edit.

Better question: could the US today invade and conquer the USSR in an operation similar to barborosa, but starting in the middle of winter?

Not a chance, IMO.

We would do some damage, but there are just too many issues with a battle against the USSR at their peak in winter.

That isn’t to say I think their military is good, it isn’t, but there are just too many factors that would hinder any invasion of Russia.

The shear size of Russia is one reason. Same as an invasion of the US.

Nah, it makes sense I just was multitasking and added some words that weren't there.

Yea, the distance between Moscow and Volgograd is 620 miles.

Moscow to Saint Petersburg is 400 miles.

Essentially 1000 miles between St. Petersburg and Volgograd.

That is by already existing roads.

That is just the western aspect of Russia’s major cities.

Add the east and its massive.

It’s too big.

I’m not a war expert, but with all the bureaucracy now a days annd all of our politicians being glorified lawyers it prob would never happen. Throw in Trump’s empty threats as a leader and we’d prob make a deal to keep Hitler alive with a billion dollar salary just to get out of the war and call that a victory.

Hell, how many billions of dollars and lives have been lost in the last two decades fighting people who live in tents.

I've heard some people talk about what it would take to hold the East European Plain and that it is an impossible task.

Not sure if it is impressive that Russia has remained "cohesive" for so long or more understanding of why Russia has so many problems.

Maybe one of the tankers on here could tell us how impactful their tank rounds would even be against current armor (I assume poorly, but I have no idea).

A Königstiger could knock out light armored vehicles like M113s and Bradleys*. But if they tried going up against an Abrams it would be like a malnourished child trying to fight a full grown male silverback gorilla.

*the only way a Königstiger could kill a Bradley is if the Bradley didn’t see it first, which it would, and kill it with a TOW missile long before the Königstiger got in range to use its 8.8 cm main gun.

Two nerds in Utah with an Xbox controller would have taken out Hitler with an RC robot within minutes of verifying his location. Given that many in the German army opposed Hitler, the answer is minutes to hours
