22 and almost 26. They got married at 18 and 21.

Pros and cons to each.

My parents will fully admit today that they struggled to deal with "kid behavior", although I don't know how much better it would have been at a later age either. They didn't really mellow until retirement.

I do appreciate that they're so young we get to do actual fun stuff together versus dealing with elderly parents who can't do much of anything. My dad just turned 60 last week, and mom still has 2.5 years.

17 and 18.

I loved it. My Dad and I were close in age to the point that he truly understood me.

Dad was 55 and Mom was 35.

Having a dad that old wasn't ideal growing up and he passed away when i was 18.

I had my first kid at 31 and think 25-35 is the ideal age for having kids. Not too young and not too old.

dad == 44
mom = 35

had a brother 9 years older than me
and a sister 7 years younger.

My mother told my wife soon after we were married
=> "have your children closer together."

Mom was 21 and dad was 25. My oldest was born when I was 25.

We'll see what happens with my youngest but I might have an empty nest at 45. Probably should have waited a few more years but I wanted to be done having kids by 30.

Definitely hard being a teen parent, I’m sure, but was always cool having younger parents.

42 and 40.

I was an oopsie baby. Both my siblings were teenagers already. I was told my Dad just bought a boat two weeks before my Mom found out she was pregnant.

41 and 39. Same here. My older brothers were 16 and 13. It didn't end there. My mother felt I shouldn't grow up alone and they tried for 3 more years for me to have a sibling to grow up with.

I'm four years older than my youngest brother.

I'm am the first born of 3 boys, 2 years apart.

My dad was 36 and mom 28.

In my own case, my daughter is 5 years older than my son. I was 23 when she was born.
