Not regularly until college.

Although, whenever we visited my grandmother she would make me a cup of coffee - half coffee, half milk, ton of sugar.

I never drank coffee until I was 23. I drove my wife to Pennsylvania for her grandfather's funeral. I didn't know anyone at the receiving of friends...it was cold and I was tired after working all week then making the trip. I stood out in the parlor of the funeral home and started drinking coffee for something to do. I've been drinking it ever since (that was nearly 25 years ago).

I'll add that I've always loved the smell of freshly ground coffee. As a kid, it was my job to grind the coffee in the manual grinder whenever we visited my grandparents. I just never acquired the taste until my 20's.

Your question is very presumptive....I haven't started yet. Should I be concerned about possibly having what you young-uns call "the ghey"?

No coffee. Just snort a line when you wake up and you're good for the whole day.

8 or 9. I saw my father drinking it and wanted to try it. So mom put in milk in sugar and I was fine with it. Switched over to black coffee sometime in high school.

1/2 coffee, 1/2 whole milk, and about 6 tablespoons of sugar if that counts.

This..except it was my Grandfather.....I think it was common in Cajun Country.

I'd have it on occasion with a little cream and sugar while I was growing up.

Really started drinking it when i worked for a couple of years between High School and College. After a few months I found myself drinking it black and the rest is history.

Except for a splash of bourbon or Frangelico during early morning hunts in the winter, anything added to coffee is just a pollutant and ruins it.

I started with those bottles of Starbucks frappuccinos when I was maybe 10 or 11. If only someone had warned me that those are gateway coffees.

My coon arse grandparents started giving me coffee milk as early as 2-3 years old. I was drinking Cafe Au Lait by the time I was 7 or 8 and started drinking black coffee when I was in high school.

I have had at least 1 cup of coffee every weekday since my freshman year at LSU, trying to cut back now.
