My parents always had and served coffee after every dinner. I started having a cup when I was fairly young (probably early teens). My kids started drinking coffee during their college years.

How old were you when you started drinking it?

My Grandmother used to make coffee milk for us when we were kids, like 3 and up.

1/2 coffee, 1/2 whole milk, and about 6 tablespoons of sugar if that counts.

my great grandmother started putting coffee milk in my sippy cup as a toddler when she babysat me while my parents were at work. Now that i have kids, i cant imagine giving them caffeine, but i guess it was a different world back then. I drank coffee milk every day well into college. Then i met my wife and she started making fun of me, so im now cultured in a more adult way of drinking coffee.

Around 10. I used to read the paper before school every day too. Got to high school and started staying up/out late and realized waking up 2 hours before school started was for the birds.

I spent the summers at my Grandpa's house and pretty much every morning we would walk to his friends around the corner for coffee. I would guess I was 10 or so when I had my first cup. Like you it was with milk and sugar.

I don't and can't drink it. The few times I've tried it, it has sent my running to the bathroom. Does your stomach ever build up a tolerance to it?

First time I had it, my grandad gave me a cup before going duck hunting when I was around 12. I remember the heart burn was so bad that morning that I couldn't even focus on hunting. Never drank it again until college and haven't stopped since.
