Moved into a family house when I was 30, I bought it from the family a couple of years after. I then bought another 39 when I was 1. The next was my last, I’m in now older than I once was, not quite as old as I’m going to be.

29 for my first, that was only a year ago so I'm still in it. Debating whether or not we're going to put some money into it and stay long term, or sell it in 5 years or so.

Bought 1st one at 30; wife was in middle of medical residency. 100 year old house Uptown New Orleans.
5 years later, we were now parents, planned for a second kid, wanted somewhere safer. Found and bought a tear-down lot in Old Metairie and built new house on it. Plan to be there rest of my life; at least to retirement.
Made out like bandits on sale of 1st house. Nearly doubled what we bought it for in just 5 years.
