I make 3,300.00 each week. 1,000.00 goes into savings each week. Rest goes into checking.

Hyperbolic statement.

It's not hyperbolic at all. The value of a unit of currency in a system of fiat central banking loses value over time.

But what if you survive and for some reason you're on the hook for the medical bills?

2 years worth of living, it's not uncommon for me to go a year at a time without work.

That having an excessive amount in savings is imprudent. I get the need for some liquidity but if your goal is to create growth then it's silly to keep something like 100k in savings. If you have enough money that you just don't give a frick, well, more power to you.

A couple of thousand. Everything else I try to invest. I don’t have much, but you gotta start somewhere.

Checking, under 300 bucks. Savings, under 10k.

Savings I can't easily access, I finally looked in march, 280ish. All supplemental income has gone into it for 10+ years.

This year was the first time I've looked in five years or more.

No brag. I drive cheap cars. I have a paid for tiny house. And I work 50-60 hours a week in a shite job.

I don't keep nearly that much as most of my money is invested in hookers and blow.
