Can't say I was ever really comfortable in those places the few times I went with friends years ago.
I'm not delusional enough to think ANY attention those gals give to customers is anything more than a way to squeeze as much money out of them as they can before they move on to the next guy.
Granted, some of the gals in those places are gorgeous to look at, but it's almost a sure bet they are flawed when it comes to what's between the ears. Men to them are nothing more than walking ATM's to be taken advantage of.

I was in a very low end strip club with a couple of buddies in the 80s. The place had high tables, and 3 foot stools.
The only table open was in front of one with 4 huge, gnarly bikers wearing club colors. We walked over to the open table, and saw there was an ugly stripper with her back to us, having an animated conversaion with a bearded biker. She was jumping around, but there was a stool about 2 feet behind her.
We saw our table was one stool short for our group. My buddy eyed the one right behind the stripper, and thought it was up for grabs, so he pulls it over to our table and hops on it.
When the stripper took a break from jabbering, she flops back, assuming her 3 ft stool was still there. So, she hopped straight up, no stool, and crashes down on her ugly arse. It was a sight out of the 3 stooges.
The biker she was talking to looks over at me deadpan, and I think "we're dead". Then, he lets out the biggest belly laugh, and his buddies were crying laughing.
I think we bought them beers after.

30+ years on the road in the SE had me visiting them all. I’m a very social person I loved having a good time with the ladies who enjoyed the work. There has never been a phrase more important in a work environment that in this one “ It’s All About The Attitude “ Never expect anything and appreciate what you get from the ladies.

It was THE THING to do.......when I was in high school (back then drinking age was 18 so sneaking in at 16-17 wasn't as big an accomplishment or as big a deal)

Always a fun time with a good group of guys. I probably frequent one about once a decade though.

In high school everyone was doing a sorority kidnap and running around the city all night, a friend tried to get in PP and kept getting denied. He eventually got pepper sprayed and got his arse kicked by the bouncers. When we got him he was stumbling down Mt Moriah at 3 am in a ripped up button down shirt barely able to see from a combo of alcohol and pepper spray

I dated a stripper, broke it off when she pointed out an apartment in my complex and said she used to buy her drugs there. East TX strippers > NW La strippers.
