I usually have between 100 and 200 bucks, when it gets below 100 I put in another hundred sometimes that may last 6 months.
When I travel I carry enough cash to stay a couple of nights as well as eat along with enough to fly home if I lose my wallet. The majority of that cash stays somewhere besides my wallet. About 3 years ago I was happy I did that because I had my cars serpentine belt brake. I was able to get to the next exit and a small gas station before the car overheated. I called roadside assistance and they said it would be 1 1/2 hours for the tow truck which I knew would be at least 2 hours. I then ask the attendant if they knew of a garage that could fix it. They said yes, so and so can tow it and my SIL has a garage down the street. So I went that way, they made the calls and I was back on the road within 2 hours, neither the tow guy nor the garage took credit cards. Since it was about 3:30 when it happened if I had to wait on the tow truck I would almost certainly have been stuck overnight which could have been a disaster in BFE Alabama.

Depends on the country I am in. Germany where I currently live usually at least 100 no more than 200. When I am home 20-50, if I am traveling long distance I pull 200-300. It really depends on where I am and what I am doing.

None. At least that's what I tell the panhandlers.

2-300 easy. 1K if I know I'm getting work done on my car. I pay my mechanic cash.

I usually carry $60 just in case I have to park for an event.

I usually carry about $20 bucks or less on my person.
On a semi related note...I once got into this kind of bad habit of stuffing small bills and change into the center console of my vehicle, and did that for about 3 years without taking anything out. When I finally decided to clean it out I had close to $3000 in there.

Zero, unless I know I need it for something (hotel, valet, festivals, etc...).

I usually have at least $50 cash on me. Right now I have $100, but it's the same $100 that's been in my clip for about a month now. I rarely use cash anymore. Even yesterday when I stopped at a gas station for a bottled water I swiped the credit card.
