Just made last payment on vehicle.
No outstanding car loans for the East Coast Band family.
Wouldn't mind keeping it with no payments for a while

Bougt a new Grand Sport a few weeks ago. I think I’ll drive this one for the rest of my days since I’ll be out of money by the time I finish paying for it. Been getting a new car every year or two for the past decade. That trend has to stop. This one’s a keeper.

My Tundra is almost 15 years old with 255k miles on it. Has been bulletproof. I’m looking now at upgrading....but when I look I truck prices, I get depressed and tell myself I’m good a few more months. May wait til the end of the year to see if I can get a good deal.

I bought a 2013 Highlander last summer that had about 97k on it. My daughter turned 11 this spring. I’ll drive it 5 more years and then it’s hers. We needed the third row for when we don’t want to take the van places but all fit in one car. By 2024 it will be around 11-12 years old and probably have 130-140k on it and hope it gets her through college.

Sounds similar to what we are doing with the wife's car. She has a 2012 Honda Accord with about 65k on it. We'll probably save it for my daughter's first car. She's 12 now.

2008 Lexus that turns 11 next month with just under 50K. Always garage kept so it still looks brand new. I mostly work from home. When I do go into work, my commute is 5 miles.

I plan on keeping until it has at least 100k miles.

Are you like 90 years old? How do you only put 5k a year on your vehicle?

I have a 19 year old car with 46,000 miles on it. I live a block from work so I don’t have to drive much.

Had my old truck for 13 years before handing it down to my son. Had 75K miles on it. I’ll probably have my new ride for 20 years. Thank goodness for a company vehicle.

O5 Toyota with 165k on it. Zero issues and no car note for 10+ years has been awesome. May be upgrading soon because one of my kids is getting a new vehicle because of a job change and the one they would be trading in is a 14 Honda with 65k. Upgrade in cash so still no note.

Just got a new car in February that was purchased with a growing family in mind - hope to keep it for the next 10 years easy. We don't drive but 10,000 miles a year so feel it will last us a while

Still have my 50 year old chevy. Just turned 27,000 on the odometer. It will probably outlive me.
Wife has a 2010 Avalon. She told me recently she wants to keep it till it falls apart.

All my car math is done in months by how much I can pay. That way I never pay a yearly rate.
