25 days we are off for "holidays"

Not sure how a company can be profitable/productive operating 11 months a year.

I get off maybe 6 days for holidays and 10 for vacation/sick

The last company big company where I worked started out with 2 weeks. At 5 yrs you got 3 weeks...10 yrs. 4 weeks and 25 yrs was 5 weeks. Sick time was 10 days a year and role over was up to 40 days.
The company had a sweeping changes in employment (lay offs) and time off among many other things. If you had more than 5 yrs you got 5 weeks PTO/sick time. People were up in arms about losing their accrued sick time. This company didn't play that game.

As many as I want. Though with everything going on I may not get one for a long time. Worth it in the long run but I'm basically strung out at this point. Need a Key West trip soon.

At 20 years we get 9 weeks. Not sure I'll ever make it that long though.

I get 7 weeks and 3 days. Can either take them, roll them over into 401K, or not take them and get paid for them but taxes are outrageous. Been with same company 20yrs

The taxes are exactly the same as your regular income

Use or lose. 3 weeks right now. Been at current job almost 2 years. Start over June 1 every year. Get another week every 5 years. Max out at 6. 12 Hoidays and 1 floating holiday we can use whenever.

I got 14 days this year. Next year I get 21 days PTO. If I choose to not use all of them they’ll send a check in the amount of the salary for each day not used

18 weeks off this year paid, 17 next year, then 17, then back to 18.

I'm technically on call, but no one calls in sick or misses work, so i spend my weeks off gambling and watching porn, while being paid

264 hours a year. Comes out to 6.6 weeks. At the end of the year up to 80 hours will roll over. Anything over that they will cut you a check for. I work for Walmart. Been there 15 years.

Combined vacation and sick days I have a little over a 1000 hours right now. But I also get all holidays off including 3 weeks roughly for Christmas. At the college I only teach online during the summer so also get 3 months during the summer so why I barely use any days. I also do not work on Fridays.

And 28 days? That’s 11% of the work year... I call BS on some of this

28 accrued + 1 "floating holiday" / yr for me. And we can only carry over 80 hours from one year to the next. Encourages proper life work balance.

I've got about about 4 weeks right now. Can roll over up to 240 hours.

Earn 4 weeks a year.

I've got a shite load of sick leave built up though that I'm saving as a short term disability plan.

So, you're a federal employee with between 3 and 15 years experience? Lol!

A federal employee with 15+ years of service accrues 8 hours a pay period, or 26 days of annual leave a year.
