Took a shite on the 3rd floor almost daily.

4th floor desks were great study zones, Pentagon dorms were way too hot (for shitting or studying.)

I probably set foot into Middleton a half dozen times max in five years.

It’s not that difficult to understand.

Some people can’t study at home

I would drive in early to get a good parking spot before my lot filled up. Usually had about an hour and a half to kill, so I did my foreign language homework in Middleton.

There’s plenty of reasons to study at the library. If you live in a crowded house with family who distract you, or have a noisy roommate or building, for example, quiet study space is at a premium.

But I will share a secret that few know. If you want quiet to study, don’t go to Middleton. Go to Hill. Most people never go there, or think they don’t allow people to study there. They do.

Used it quite a bit as a place to study. Yeah it is old but it is honestly not as bad as people make it seem. Basement was also the GOAT poop spot.

Never used it for the references. Only went there to study occasionally

If I ever set foot in Middleton, I don't remember doing it.

Probably once or twice a week during much of my first degree. Most people didn't have internet in the mid 90s though.

Only a handful of times for incognito blowjobs.

I was in there most days. I didn't have the internet at my apartment, so I had to go there for the computer lab.

Used to take a dump in the basement or 4th floor bathrooms almost every morning. After the 3rd floor fiasco they renovated all the bathrooms and they were really nice.

Unless you went to LSU last century, or you majored in some silly arts and humanities degree, you likely rarely ever went to Middleton, and if you did, it was to study b/c it was quiet there b/c it never had a lot of people.
It’s main purpose was a quiet place to study, not be a library where you check out books.

Interesting to see someone admit using the glory holes on the 4th floor. I guess you don't have to admit that it was a guy if you don't see him, right?

There were also 2 large computer labs and printers for students to use. There were reasons to use Middleton that didn't involve checking out books.

I used it all the time. It would be awesome if they would put some money into it. The building is old af and falling apart, kind of pathetic for the library of a state university of 30,000+ students

If you were/are a real student, did you ever go to the quad. CEBA is where the smart kids congregated.
