How many suits do you need at a job where you wear a suit everyday?

I'm about to accept a new job where the dress will be suit and tie. My current job is business casual and I hardly ever have had to wear a suit.
I own three suits (1 grey, 1 black, 1 blue). I've never had to wear a suit everyday, so I don't know what the "rule" or norms for this are.

I had about 5-6 suits to wear daily then a few nicer suits that I would wear for special occasions. More important is to have quite a few shirts and ties.

Get at least five more. Different shades of blue, brown, gray. You won’t want to wear the black much.

Two weeks worth is a solid number. If it isn't an OT baller salary then they will bear with you while you upgrade your suit selection.

I'd check to make sure you'll actually need the full suit every single day before stocking up. Also, I don't pay attention to suit color repeats as much as shirt/tie combos.
