We have 2-3 here locally, including a Camping World with a ton of inventory. I assume they don't pay for their inventory until it's sold.

Need a 5th wheel to justify keeping F-250 after getting laid off from the oil field.

What happens to all that inventory. They can't possibly sell all of that. How much upkeep is needed on all the RVs sitting there rotting away?

I'm getting the max life cycle out of my pull behind.

And once I get to the Campground, it allows me to pull behind, if you know what I mean!!!

I’ve often wondered that as well. What is the deal? With that much inventory you would think you would have a line of RVs and trailers moving in and out constantly. And you’re right that stuff just sits there baking in the sun and freezing in the cold. What kind of upkeep does it get?

By that time you’ll have 35.0 dealers to choose from apparently.

I think it's an RV dealer relocating and building a new shop, no? Not another new dealer. Why do you give a frick if people want to spend their own money on an RV?

That picture makes me laugh.

Reminds me of the time we were working a project at a facility during an outage. The nearby campground had all these nice rigs for the guys who traveled for work like this most of the year. Off to the side was this one pup tent with a laundry line.

My neighbor owns one in Lafayette...its insane. I speak with him often on the market for new campers with so many dealerships with tons of inventory.
He has talked about inventory..but I don't recall if it's factory owned or dealer.

You'll get your job back in a couple of months when gas is $4.00 a gallon.

I'm always a little amazed at how many people spend so many weekends on concrete RV resorts.
