Depends on how different. I don’t think I could handle extremist type views, right or left. As long as they were intelligent, accepting and open-minded I’m game.

I’ve dated a liberal, feminist girl and it was a disaster. Her family leaned the same way. Trust me, if you have different political views and values it will most likely NOT WORK.

If they were radically different it would be a deal breaker but I don’t meet people with that different of views. They aren’t allowed where I go.

It depends on how far they are, and how rabid. I could not date and/or marry a legit socialist. I could also agree with someone politically, but if they are marching/protesting every other weekend that would probably be a deal breaker too.
