My uncle in Mississippi is a big Donald Trump supporter. His wife is a big democrat from Minnesota. They get along very well.
For myself, I don’t care as long as you can have a civil conversation without all the yelling.

I dated a Democrat.

Not to hijack but my mother in law loved Obama, supported Hillary, and cannot stand Trump. They come to visit us from Florida 3-4 times a year and stay for 7 days except for Christmas when they stay for 14-17 days. I cannot begin to describe the lack of respect I have for her political views. Excruciating visits at times.
